Refund Policy

Money-back guarantee
Canadian Heart Association ("CHA") offers a 100% satisfaction money-back guarantee on:
- live virtual programs; and
- programs delivered directly by CHA (including in-person sessions hosted by CHA).
To remain eligible for the money-back guarantee, you must attend the program in full. Once your course certificate has been issued for that program, you are no longer eligible for the money-back guarantee for that registration.
Refund requests under the guarantee must be submitted promptly after the program ends and are subject to verification of full attendance. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible.
Programs outside the guarantee
Registrations for programs not covered by the money-back guarantee, including sessions hosted by partner training centers with their own registration and refund rules, remain subject to the policies stated at checkout or by the hosting organization.
For eligible CHA registrations where the guarantee does not apply or has ended, registrations are otherwise final and non-refundable. If you are unable to attend your scheduled course, your registration may be converted into a transferable course credit.
Course credits
Course credits do not expire and may be used by you or transferred to another individual for a future eligible program, subject to availability and program requirements.
Cancellations by CHA
If we cancel a session, we will offer a reschedule or a course credit. We are not responsible for incidental costs such as travel or lodging.
Administrative fee on refund requests
If you request a refund outside the money-back guarantee or other provisions above, CHA may, at its discretion, process your request subject to a 50% administrative fee. The fee is deducted from the refund amount and covers the cost of reversing your registration, processing payment, and reallocating course capacity.
